The Monroe County Drug Task Force is holding a public real estate auction on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. for the purpose of selling a residential property located at 119 Timber Ridge Road in Stroud Township. The residence is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 3,201 square foot home on approximately 4 acres.
The auction will be held at the property location, 119 Timber Ridge Road in Stroud Township (mailing address is East Stroudsburg).
Public inspection periods for interested buyers will be held on Monday, October 22, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, October 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The home was seized during an investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police into a large-scale marijuana growing operation, headed by Wei Ye Li, 56, of Philadelphia.
In May of this year, Li pled guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and related charges. Subsequently, the home, which was used by Li only to grow marijuana, was forfeited and Monroe County Office of the District Attorney took possession of the home.
Clean-up of the property is being completed by Boom! Cleaned Out LLC of Saylorsburg. The auction will be conducted by Jack Muehlhan of 601 Main Street, #2, in Stroudsburg. Their listing can be viewed at https://www.auctionzip.com/Listings/3166106.html.
