Registration for the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement conference is now open!

Early bird registration is $165 until November 1, 2018.  After November 1 the registration fee is $205.

Your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch daily, two dinners, and transportation to all off-site events.

The Mid-Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement (MAAWLE) is a professional organization comprised of law enforcement officers and other individuals promoting women in law enforcement and working or residing within the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

This year’s annual conference, titled “Strength, Loyalty, and Family: The Stepping Stones for Success“, is sponsored by the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney and is being held April 7, 2018 to April 11, 2019 at Camelback Lodge in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania.

    • moderated by Deputy Chief Kelley Warner, Abington Township, PA, Police Department
  • Surviving an Armed Encounter
    • presented by Detective Ken Hogan from the Union County (NJ) Prosecutor’s Office / Irvington (NJ) Police Department (retired)
  • Active Shooter Training
    • presented by the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT)
  • Tactical Medicine / Tourniquet Training
    • presented by the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT)
  • Mental Health First Aid (certification course)
    • presented by Carbon, Monroe, Pike Mental Health & Developmental Services
  • Use of Force Training Simulator
    • presented by the Stroud Area Regional Police Department
  • EMA Drones 101
    • presented by Jonathon Al-Khal, Lehigh Valley Emergency Management
  • Personal Trauma Presentation
    • presented by Wade Haubert, Deputy Director EMA/911 Bethlehem City
  • Career and financial planning
