The Monroe County Office of the District Attorney is currently recruiting qualified applicants for the below positions:

Full time (40 hours per week)


This position provides general administrative and clerical support to the Office of the District Attorney, including the District Attorney, Assistant District Attorneys, County Detectives, other individuals directly related to the Monroe County legal system, and the public.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  preparing and typing various documents; answering incoming telephone calls, emails, and providing various assistance to members of the public; controlling access to the office and interfacing with members of the public, law enforcement, and the legal community; and performing other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years of previous experience and/or training involving general administrative expertise and support functions such as typing, filing, and other related duties; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
